Planters Pointe Community

| Planters Pointe was built by Ryland Homes in the late 1990's. It now consists of approximately 630 homes varying widely in size and style. It includes three sub-sections that are "at Rivertowne".
  
Located: Take US Highway 17 and turn on to US Highway 41. Turn off US 41 just before the Wando river on to Palmetto palm lined Planters Pointe Boulevard. There are three sections of Planters Pointe community that are accessed from RiverTowne Parkway.

Sub-sections:
Cotton Creek
Turn off US highway 41 on to Palmetto palm lined Planters Pointe Boulevard, at the traffic circle, take your 2nd right on to Cotton Creek Drive. This is the start of Cotton Creek sub-section. Homes in this section range typical in the 1200 - 2200 sqft, 3 to 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. The homes were built between 1996 and 2001.
 
Thornewood
Turn off US highway 41 on to Palmetto palm lined Planters Pointe Boulevard, and take your 1st right in to Thornewood Phase 1. This is the start of Thornewood sub-section, the newer of the Thornewood Phases are access by the Smokerise sub-section. To access these homes continue along Planters Pointe Boulevard at the traffic cirle take your 1st right and carry on along Planters Pointe Boulevard, take your 1st right on to North Smokerise Way, then 1sy right on to Summerwood Drive, this is the start of Thornewoods later phases. Homes in these sections range typical in the 1940 - 3200 sqft, 3 to 6 bedrooms with 2-4½ bathrooms. The homes were built between 2003 and 2007.

High Marsh
This is the 1st of three sections of Planters Pointe community that are access from the entrance to RiverTowne community. Turn off US Highway 41 at the crossroad stop lights, and turn left in to RiverTowne on RiverTowne Parkway. take your 1st left on to Albatross. This is the start of High Marsh sub-section of Planters Pointe. Homes in these sections range typical in the 1800 - 2890 sqft, 3 to 4 bedrooms with 2-3½ bathrooms. The homes were built between 2002 and 2004.
 
Smokerise
Turn off US highway 41 on to Palmetto palm lined Planters Pointe Boulevard, at the traffic circle, take your 1st right to remain on Planters Pointe Boulevard. This is the start of Smokerise sub-section. Homes in this section range typical in the 1650 - 2900 sqft, 3 to 5 bedrooms with 2-3 bathrooms. The homes were built between 1996 and 2004.
  
Saltwood
This is the 2nd of three sections of Planters Pointe community that are access from the entrance to RiverTowne community. Turn off US Highway 41 at the crossroad stop lights, and turn left in to RiverTowne on RiverTowne Parkway. take your 2nd left on to Saltwind Way. This is the start of Saltwood sub-section of Planters Pointe. Homes in these sections range typical in the 2250 - 3360 sqft, 3 to 5 bedrooms with 2-4½ bathrooms. The homes were built between 1997 and 2005.

Indigo Chase
This is the 3rd of three sections of Planters Pointe community that are access from the entrance to RiverTowne community. Turn off US Highway 41 at the crossroad stop lights, and turn left in to RiverTowne on RiverTowne Parkway. take your 3rd left on to RiverTowne Country Club Drive and then 1st right in to Indigo Chase. This is the start of Indigo Chase sub-section of Planters Pointe. Homes in these sections range typical in the 2000 - 5200 sqft, 3 to 5 bedrooms with 2½-4 bathrooms. The homes were built between 2005 and 2008.
