Restaurants
Seewee Restaurant This little gem is tucked along side US Highway 17 about 20 miles northeast of Charleston. The plain building with it's tin roof blend in well with it's rural setting. Once inside the feeling is old world, stepping back in time several decades. The food served is good traditional Lowcountry cuisine. It's definitely worth the trip.
Los Arco's Mexican Restaurant This restaurant is one of our favorites and I'm not sure why? It's possibly the combination of food and the atmosphere.
Poe's Founded to preserve the spirit of Edgar Allan Poe, which it does while serving some of the best burgers around.
Spice Not a local restaurant, as it is situated at Hilton Head, but if you are passing by or staying in the area, it's worth a try. The New American Cuisine covers dishes from classic American, Italian, French, Latin and Indian to name a few.
Crab Shack, Folly Beach One of our favorite summer, kick back, finger food places, especially if you can get a seat outside.
Alair Bistro Just discovered this one, excellent food and a nice atmosphere, more a couples or with friends place.
